Dakota's Grandma Annie visited him today for Mother's Day!! (At least that's how he tells it!!  ) They worked up from hand shakes to hugs!!  My Mom has always had a very real fear of dogs; especially big dogs. Can't you tell??

That is so heartwarming! I'm glad Dakota has shown your mom that not all dogs are to be feared.
I hope you are healing quickly. It probably seems slow, but I hope you are comfortable.

Thanks all! My Mom and Dakota are great buds. When my husband and I take my Mom shopping, she and Dakota share the back seat. It's not unusual to see him resting his head in her lap!!
