OK--this has been driving me crazy all day. It is a brain teaser to determine if you think from your right brain or left brain by the way you see the lady turning: clockwise or counter-clockwise. Or switching back and forth! Hope you have as much fun as I have been having!
The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.
LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past
math and science
can comprehend
knowing
acknowledges
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies
practical
safe
RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking _________________ Diane (and Dakota)

| I can see both ways, but clockwise is dominant. Which is kinda funny, because I don't think I'm any of the things listed for right side. I'm definitely more of the left side thing. Weird.... |

This is a joke, right? I see her going clockwise, then she switches and goes counter clockwise. I'm not seeing things am I?...Wouldn't be the first time |

Wow, that's really interesting. I see clockwise, but think of myself as more left brained too. _________________ Meg and Cali

OK, I googled to get more information and here is what I found. This test is not an indication of right brain/left brain dominance. To further confuse me, I couldn't find the man in the coffee beans test!

Me too.... I'm totally a math person. Less about proving things, more about cranking numbers, which is still very methodical.
Weird.... |

lots of fun, Diane!!
I saw it both ways....(but then, I know the secret to how it works)....
I'm more right brained....certainly not a numbers gal....but visual things--totally up my alley...
p.s. this really is a test of visual accumen (proportion, distance, 3-D vs. 2-D and how the brain makes sense of visual information)

Mary, I saw it go both directions but it usually spun clockwise. I also found the man in the coffee beans but it took me 20 - 30 seconds. My daughter saw him almost immediately! _________________ Mindi

Completely full time absolutely counter clockwise here.
I guess I'm not very flexible. LOL _________________ www.tinkerdoodle.net

Very interesting. I cannot see it moving counter clockwise. My perception is just one way, clock wise. Cool _________________ Greg

Hey Mary, aka Foodlady:
How bout we "Saw the lady down the middle"...
that way, both the right and left side will evenly weighted,
and,
center-brained,
to me,
means you use both halves!! LOL!!
hehe.
