5 weeks old today

My pups are 5 weeks old today. They've started eating some dry puppy chow, are wrestling, chew everything in reach, can now run and are growing to be big furballs. This poor little apricot male pushed Dad too far this morning so got his first lesson in when to back off. Moses didn't bite him, but he barked loudly and smacked him with his head. After, he approached Moses in a submissive position. It's amazing how well that message got through.
He did have fun when a baby came to visit though! He thought her shoes were great to chew on.

Oh Tink, that is an adorable picture! Thanks for the update. It is fun to hear about the puppies' progress. How is Moses doing after his ordeal now that he's been home a couple days?

Moses is still a bit on edge. He's not keen on going out and is quite intolerant of anything bugging him. He really doesn't want the pups around him at all anymore.
He was very happy to see the little baby girl who visited though thank goodness.

Tink perhaps Moses had a very stressful time the past week or so and needs his space to de-stress

Annmarie, I'm sure he did have a terrible time and is traumatized by it. He's not himself yet but I hope he will recover soon. For now I'm just trying to keep things as normal as possible and pamper him a bit.
