I have rather mixed emotions tonight, but know in my heart I did the right thing. A young couple came a week ago to see Montana, and came back tonight to ask if they could have her.
They have 3 kids, 2 acres in the country, are outdoor enthusiasts, and she really liked them. She will be going to the river tomorrow with them and their other lab for a day of play. They brought their lab with to see how they'd react to each other and did just fine together.
I charged just enough to pay for her being spayed and will refund it as soon as they get it done. We'll miss her, but I really think it's going to be far better for her. _________________ www.tinkerdoodle.net

Big hugs Tink! It sounds like you found a wonderful home for Montana. I know you will miss her but also be relieved she won't have to go through another false pregnancy and will be with a family who loves her. _________________ Meg and Cali |

My heart goes out to you...what a difficult decision that must have been. If your heart is telling you that you did the right thing then rest assured, you did. I bet it will be much harder on you than Montana...sounds like she is gonna have it great! _________________ ~~Kim & Bailey~~ |

You are letting her go with a heart full of love...she will carry that with her all of her life. She knows how much you love her...and she is so lucky to have her new family to continue with her journey. _________________ jacque.bayley.lexie.chase.rosie.nitos.amelia.dupree.madison.sherwood.gerry www.backporchlabradoodles-jacque.blogspot.com www.backporchlabradoodles.com |
