GEORGIA ON MY MIND:
When: Saturday, April 19, 2008 (April 20 as a rain day)
Time: 10am to 12 pm
Where: Lenora Park in Snellville

Address: 4515 Lenora Church Road, Snellville, GA 30078

Although not required, we will be accepting donations for IDOG (International Doodle Owners Group) that day to help with rescues. I am particularly fond of this group because they connected me with Charlie.

There will be lots of pictures, fun, romping and socializing going on (and the dogs will have fun too).

If you have any questions, please contact me or JoAnn. Here are our email addresses.

JoAnn: firstmudduck@yahoo.com
Bryan: doodledad@gadoodles.com

For more pictures from last year’s event, go to:
http://www.gadoodles.com/images/Bryan/DoodleRomp-2007-GA/DR2007.htm

PLEASE HELP ME GET THE WORD OUT! This is so much FUN!!!

Bryan (Doodledad)

I think Ohio had more than one last year----people are still sending information into IDOG as we speak...I'm sure they'll update the Buckeye State soon!!

Hope you can take the beasts!

Utah....nothing. There was an Idog person but she moved over a year ago and I have request that they appoint someone else (even offered myself) but no reply...what gives with Utah doodle owners?

Have you emailed IDOG directly about becoming a "community liason?"...
it really doesn't take much to be one...just have to be willing to take a few emails helping people in your area with questions about doodles/breeders/rescues/etc....
and, doing this ROMP--find a place suitable and off you go!!
I've downloaded IDOG's posters and will be plastering them at the dog parks, pet stores, and grocery stores...I'm also relying on word of mouth too...and oh yeah, I'm thinking of taking a small ad out on the back cover our local free newspaper the week before ours---I'm hoping to round up lots more this way as most locals read this!! Wink hahahahahaha--ya think I'll find some doodles this way?? Wink Very Happy Very Happy

I emailed her twice. The first time she replied that due to an auto accident she hadn't replaced the Utah representative. Second time she did not respond Twisted Evil

I'll talk to my cousin and see if she feels like a road trip.....4 1/2 hour drive for us. I wonder if they would let a little Chonzer (Bichon Frise / Miniature Schnauzer) as a guest, because that's what Chewie is (Jonah, Miko and Rumor's canine cousin).

I do have a brother in Dayton, but I don't thinks he has room for two humans and 4 dogs!!

Oh I'm sure they will let in non-doodles (but I would still ask). The NJ one has been at a private dog park and they let their normal customers still use the park...

4.5 hrs in the car with 3 doodles would be a brave trip!
