I think we can all forget about the weather being nice in Ohio for Christmas...unless that is you like freezing cold and possibly sleety snow. Ah I can't wait to go back can you tell? We will be in Middleburg Hts and Hinkley for Christmas.

Yup. Luckily Maya is great in the car and sleeps the whole entire way. No joke. However that makes for one rambunctious puppy when we get there. I would not be without my baby during the holidays. Although my other baby Morgan will be staying here. She hates the car.

I hope you have some Snow for Maya to play in !

Annabelle also sleeps in the car when we travel, once we are on the road for about 10 minutes and she realizes we are Not going shopping, she lays down and sleeps, once in a while she'll pop her head up and look but sleeps 95% of the way.

I am 27 and single and I think a doodle was a great fit! She is a little more energetic than I originally expected but I just adjusted. We took a little longer than usual to bond but now I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.

Hi MJ. Welcome to doodleland! I can't give you any advice on a labradoodle vs goldendoodle but I'm sure Annmarie (Maxandme) will be able to tell you some personality traits that may help make up your mind.

I have a large labradoodle and although he's got lots of energy it goes in spurts rather than long durations. He has more playful periods during the day than our lab mix, Stihl, who weighs about 55 lbs., but Stihl runs longer and harder when they play.

Good luck in your puppy search and keep us updated!

There are tons of breeders in Ohio.......we almost got Bogie at Riverbend but discovered that the same stud was used here in Michigan close to me.
You will LOVE a doodle!

Hi Turtleaut--Welcome to the amazing world of Doodles and this forum! You will find no better group of people! Doodles are AWESOME and perfect for what you are looking for. You do need to be cautious of how much you jog with a young dog, but short spurts are fine. I have an 8 month old girl that I've saved for breeding and I feel like her energy level never stops! She lives with my best friend who goes on short little runs and Lilly (the doodle) just loves it! Smile Anyhow, if you'd prefer an older pup, let me know b/c I've thought about cutting back and placing her in a pet home. If you have any other questions about Doodles in general, feel free to contact me! Good luck!

Thank you all for your concern and interest in my labradoodle search. I would love to get one of Tink's puppies, but I would have to drive 7.5 hors to Wisconsin from Cleveland. Her pups seem great and just what I am looking for, but to drive that far may be a bit much for me.

I am going to a breeder about 1/2 hour from me tomorrow. She has F1 GD's and F1B LD's. If there are any more breeders near me, please let me know asap!!

Thanks!
