Could use some thoughts and prayers ...

My son Alex is 4 1/2 and has a multitude of health problems. Up until this point it has been a pretty good year and we've managed to stay out of the hospital. Within the last few weeks he has developed a facial tic. We have an appointment with a Pediatric Neurologist on Wednesday. The poor kid has been through so much I hate to put him through more testing but that's probably what is in our future. Hopefully it might give us some insight into some of his other health issues. Well to top it all off he slashed open the back of his head today on a speaker cabinet and after 5 long hours in the ER he is now sporting two staples. Crying or Very sad

It was a very long day - with as many times as he has been in the hospital he is almost phobic about doctors and was sure they were going to make him stay. The long wait in the waiting room just allowed his anxieties to all but get the best of him.

Oh my gosh Heather! Poor Alex! My thoughts and prayers are definately with you both. hope the testing gives you some good and helpful information.
