Asking for more prayers please - on our way to New york

annabelles mom

Just wanted to let you know we are on our way to New York, spoke with Rick (stepbrother) this afternoon and Daddy is not doing so well, Dad had hoped to go home today or tomorrow but that won't be happening, if he is discharged, it will be to a nursing home or rehab as he is too weak to get up by himself. Not sure what changed overnight, the doctor had not been in yet when I spoke with Rick so I dont' know if they will be ordering anymore tests or not.

We left about 8pm ane will drive about 4 hrs then stop for the night and finish trip tomorrow.

Will appreciate it if you would keep Daddy in your prayers and us for a safe trip.

Annabelle stayed home, Linda and John will be taking care of her, felt she was better at home than in a kennel.

More prayers on the way Mary. (((((((()))))))))

I helped take care of elderly Grandparents and my Dad recently. Rehab for all of them was always the best thing. It gave them strength and I believe kept them out of the hospital because they were prepared physically to resume life at home.

I'll be thinking about all of you.

we are Still in Virginia, gosh this is a long state, 5 hrs ! I'm gonna strangle my husband if he doesnst stop for the night soon - I'm tired and want to lay donw on a bed !, may not sleep but I want out of the van
