Well, it finally happened. The doodle destruction I've read (and laughed) about here from other puppy owners. Lucky for me it wasn't anything of any great value, but while I snuck a nap on the sofa, Lily decided to show me what she thought of my vet supply catalog. When I woke up it was in teeny tiny pieces all over the living room and down the hall.

She of course was out cold on the floor next to the sofa looking angelic and innocent. Moses had moved to the bedroom and was staying as far from the mess and blame as he possibly could. LOL

What a scene to wake up to! Once in awhile Chouette will get into something she's not supposed to; paper, especially soft paper like napkins, seems to be hard for her to resist. I have a pile of catalogues and old New Yorkers next to my chair, so I hope she doesn't branch out to those. She also loves my granddaughter's Groovy Girls clothes and I have to keep reminding gd to keep them in the closet where they belong. Those she just nibbles on; no destruction so far.

How old is Lily now? Chouette is seven months old today!

And sometimes it never goes away! I came home last night to all the kitchen towels in a pile....unchewed, a role of paper towels half ingested, and the lid partially chewed off a bottle of crushed red pepper. Very little of the contents of the pepper gone, but the water dish was empty!! Shocked
Welcome to the club Tink and Lily!! Wink Laughing

Being only 9 weeks old, I expect this is only the first of many demo derbies Lily will have.

Sue, I have 3 boys left...

This light cream poodle nosed little bugger that's getting a doodle coat that wants to stand on end...

This cream with the apricot fringe around his ears and a slightly darker color than the other cream on a more Lab shaped face...

And this white boy who is filling out with a broad chest and thicker coat and is just Mr Personality.

WOW talk about a puppy fix....TINK you're killing me hahahhaaa and keep 'em coming!!!

Sue which one is your favorite? come on, tell us

Leslie.........are you serious that is all Chouette has ever done?
Max was always an angel and listened well and learned fast BUT he did have a devil in him that chose MORE than paper napkins hahahhaha

i'd say Peanut didn't kick in to chewing till hmmm around 8mos or 9mos old. The 10mo stage hahahah thats when they break in adult teeth heh heh heh

OH BEAU did his 1st defuzzing debut last night ....an old pillow we had left to throw out in the garbage. WOW he's so smart hahahaa he showed us that we were right--it needs to be thrown out now Wink
