What occupations do Labradoodles & their owners have?

Hi! Im new here I have a F1 Black Labradoodle who's name is Licorice.
I am an Accountant and my Husband is in Sales. Our daughter is 12 need I say more and her sister Licorice was 2 in July. She enjoys Leather shoes and lounging on the couch. Razz

Do you have a nickname for Licorice? I would love to see a picture. Have you had her since she was a puppy?

We call her Lick or Lick Lick usually. She is solid black and weighed in at the vet last time at 57lbs. She is very mouthy though. She thinks she has an opinion for everything. I think she gets that from her older sister. I will post a picture as son as I figure out how.

I am another registered nurse but like to feel I am a stay at home mom too. Initially I worked at the Children's Hospital as nursing coordinator for families who had children with brain tumors (pediatric neuro-oncology). Then I had my two boys, ages 4 and 6 and stayed home for 5 years. I decided to go back to work for a nursing telephone advice line which allows me to continue to be home for my boys as needed and work a few hours here and there when I want.

I really wanted a female dog to PMS with every month but ended up with "Little B" as we like to call him. His biggest job was to heal our hearts after losing our other 12 year old dog this summer. He has done that and more. I hope in the future he will be a PALS dog (pet access league society) and we can go have visits with kids in the hospital.

I'm an engineer and my wife is a tax consultant. I also enjoy photography, golf, cooking and writing. It remains to be seen yet what jobs Winston will shoulder upon his arrival, though I predict he will be a warmer of feet and a chaser of rabbits. Perhaps a childhood confidant for my daughter and most likely a source of consternation for my wife. One thing I know he will be is the family dog and thats not such a bad job.

Ah Islamorada. I've been to Kokomo a few times, and had these really awesommmmmme ribs at a rib place near the hotel where we stayed....but I can't remember the name of that rib place!! ACK!!

Was it Rip's or Steves BBQ? Unfortunately, they are both gone! This place is changing so fast lately. And not always for the better. The housing and mortgage slump is hitting S. Florida hard! But, good news! We have a new chocolate Labradoodle neighbor named Luke! What a cutie! I am going to get a picture of him to post.
