My son got engaged!

My son Joel is 21, and has dated Shannon (19) for almost 2 yrs.
Last night he proposed to her and she accepted. Smile

We really like her, so it's a good thing. They're planning on a lengthy engagement, which is fine since they're both plenty young.

This is Shannon, my beautiful Daughter in law to-be

Thanks all... I am very happy for them. They seem to make a good couple and she's fit her way into our family nicely. She was adopted as an infant, but has had very unstable relationships with her adopted parents who have both pretty much gone their own way without her, so she enjoys being part of a big goofy family.
