Hi all, my husband is jumpinjacuzzijoe and we love visiting this forum, viewing other doodles and learning more about them.
I purchased an hd camcorder for my business and thought we should learn how to use it by watching 'Bubba' do his job!
He is the Myrtle Creek Golf Course 'Goose Dog!" Best job ever for a doodle. Got some great footage, but I'm still not sure what the best software is to get it online, so if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful. The camcorder creates film in mp4.
Oh now to the question at hand - what do we do?
Joe is retired and golfs nearly every day in beautiful Myrtle Creek
Bubba, our one year old doodle is golf's favorite protector, he chases geese off the course.
And I am an author, and we are celebrating the New Paperback Edition of my award winning best juvenile fiction young adult fantasy book GreeHee The Journey of Five.
So what do you do? And of course what does your doodle do? |

I work as a program coordinator for a cancer research group at the University of Utah. My husband is an environmental scientist now working for the SLC Intnl Airport.
Tanner's job is to keep us healthy (by demanding walks and exercise), to entertain us (no need to explain that one) and to scare away all the heffalumps and woozles.
The three of us are looking forward to retiring in 19 months and 6 days. We will be moving from Utah to South Carolina.

I'm a stay at home mom to an 8 year old and a 2.5 year old.
Prior to that I worked as a research associate in neonatology at a major children's hospital. Our group's claim to fame is that we had a huge study published in the New England Journal of Medicine...I had my name listed in the in the publication as part of the study, so I thought that was pretty cool...
Dexter hopes to be a Service Dog some day...therapy, crisis team, etc. Fingers crossed...
(PS - I love the way AnnieG has the months and days tallied in her head. We're not too anxious, are we?? ) _________________ -Lynn

I've got many titles, I'm a doll doctor (15 years experience in repair and restoration), and I make dolls to sell. I also work part time at a church, doing office type work. I work mostly from home, even some of the office church work can be done at home. I can't print the bulletins from here though.
Cinnamon is a stay at home dog that comes with me sometimes when I work at the church. She loves every one and the church people will request I bring her to functions. She doesn't go on Sundays.
Someday I hope to be able to take her to nursing homes and to children hospitals. I think she's old enough to be able to do that without much fuss and I've been meaning to look into that. Maybe today... |

I'm a stay at home mom to 3 kids ages 15, 6 and 2 and 1 naughty puppy.
Currently Murphy spends his days eating mulch when he should be going potty, running away from me when he's being naughty, "helping" me sort laundry, and chewing up whatever he can get his little mouth on. I'm hoping that when he is older he can be a therapy dog. |

I provide computer support services for logistics and transportation of a large pharmaceutical firm. I work primarily out of my home where I am also a SAHM for a dog.
We joke that even though Charlie was bred to be a service dog, he is absolutely useless. We're waiting for his "service" qualities to make themselves known. DH tried to teach him to fetch the newspaper but he thought that meant he should also chew it to shreds. Seriously, we're hoping that he will be able to make himself useful as a therapy dog. There is a nice local organization that I'd like to work with. He needs to get past him mouthy stage first.

Wow, we have an interesting group!
I have been around for a while, so I have a long history...but I'll try to give you the abbreviated version...
I worked as a courtroom clerk and traffic referee for over 20 years. I took 4 years off to work as a Records Manager for a large water district. I became certified as a Mediator for the courts and then I moved to California where I held a few jobs and then went to work as a courtroom clerk again.
I started law school and graduated just after my 55th birthday!
While in law school, I bought my first two female doodles, started researching and preparing to breed them. We now have a fairly good sized breeding operation (dog pimp?) and we donate dogs as service animals to the Guide Dogs of America, Guide Dogs of the Desert, and Canine Support Teams. Finally, I just qualified as a non-profit corporation to provide service dogs...watch for us in a few years...Canine Service Connection, CSC.
Hubby is an attorney, specializes in contracts, business transaction law, patents and trademarks, but is working for the county (so that I can follow all of my dreams) and he is currently a Deputy District Attorney. He worked for many years as a contracts negotiator for the Federal Government.
The dogs? They love their work...ahem...
Whew! (Yes, that truly was the shortened version!) _________________ jacque.bayley.lexie.chase.rosie.nitos.amelia.dupree.madison.sherwood.gerry www.backporchlabradoodles-jacque.blogspot.com www.backporchlabradoodles.com |

I work in the accounting department of a Private
Golf Course.
Hubby works as a courier for DHL
We also have a Web design company and Hubby does that
in his spare time. I am very involved in cat rescue organizations. My spare time is spent
with my own animals and of course this forum. _________________ Sue & Denver
