I have rather mixed emotions tonight, but know in my heart I did the right thing. A young couple came a week ago to see Montana, and came back tonight to ask if they could have her.

They have 3 kids, 2 acres in the country, are outdoor enthusiasts, and she really liked them. She will be going to the river tomorrow with them and their other lab for a day of play. They brought their lab with to see how they'd react to each other and did just fine together.

I charged just enough to pay for her being spayed and will refund it as soon as they get it done. We'll miss her, but I really think it's going to be far better for her.

Big hugs Tink! It sounds like you found a wonderful home for Montana. I know you will miss her but also be relieved she won't have to go through another false pregnancy and will be with a family who loves her.

My heart goes out to you...what a difficult decision that must have been. If your heart is telling you that you did the right thing then rest assured, you did. I bet it will be much harder on you than Montana...sounds like she is gonna have it great!
