Has any one read the news article that just came out on micro-chiping? I liked the micro-chip idea..... a good way to verify that the dog that someone is claiming to have problems with is the dog in question. Keeps everyone honest.
With what this article says, it will be just a matter of time that people will be requesting their dogs without a micro-chip. I guess that it would make it all the more important to had your breeding stock DNA'd?

You know...that AP article is quite longwinded...
This is the article I originally read, shorter and more to the point. It is out of a local paper. What I really found interesting was that a girlfriend had just told me that she had had quite a few fatty tumors removed from her dog's chest over the years, all where his harness rubbed against his chest. That would support the theory in the article about irritation causing tumors... and yes, all this is quite scary!
