|
|
I have a girl we're spaying next week and then she'll be a candidate for placement with some other home who will love her as much as we do. (My kids are avoiding thinking about our Yankee living somewhere else)
Anyway, I don't want to advertise, but I was trying to think, under which section do Doodles needing re-homing get discussed?
Also...do people pay for retired dogs? It's not about the money, but I don't want to give our girl to someone who doesn't appreciate her, ya know? _________________ ~Maureen

I saw a news story about people that pose as couples or what have you to get dogs and give them to science labs. They get free to good homes. Do not let you baby go free. I am in the same situation with Trystan (well though I am not trying hard lol I havent really told anybody yet ) anyway I am thinking $200 or so seems ok to not get a bad parent and to make it affordable for a loving family! There are people that would just love a trained loving dog that is calm and beautiful! |

I hope you find her a good home - I can't imagine letting one of my babies go to another home - Good luck! _________________

Thank you for your sympathy! Living in a small house with a small yard and city ordinances are forcing a tough decision. But we'll never stop loving our Yankee Dandy Doodle, wherever she lives!

oh my gosh she's a TOTAL LOVER!
She sheds, for sure....her hind quarters look like a lab!
Yankee had a loving breeder, who kinda wanted to keep her but then waffled, never brought her in the house to train her or housebreak her, so at 10mos. old she was looking for someone to give her the love she deserved. We got her 5 wks before her 1st birthday, having never lived in a house, or with children, but you would never know it. Housebreaking her was a bit of an adventure, but from the minute I met her she was a TOTAL LOVE! She rode home from the airport with her head in my lap, wishing all of her could crawl in there...but driving would've been a challenge She's completely housebroken and sweet. She loves living with us and with other dogs, too.
Remember this????? Did I post this picture?
This is Yankee NURSING SHEBA's PUPPIES! (Yankee wasn't bred but it didn't stop her from getting milk! _________________ ~Maureen
