you are going to love this,

I had taken a deposit from a woman for a goldendoodle, did my normal screening , seemed very nice, sane person,,hummpff

pups were born last week, she had PICK PUP in the litter, I promised her a discount becuase she wanted to trian for therapy, no biggy , i give away pups to service organizations ,i want to do my part,,,

anyway,,i have policies as do most reputable breeders that pups be paid for by 4weeks old, i request it paid as soon as you are confirmed for a specific litter,, we do not choose pup till 5-6weeks old in the order i have recieved your deposit, (nothing out of the ordinary,) anyway,, grrr, this woman wanted her deposit returned,
She had PICK PUPPY!!!! at a discount, wanted me to refund her deposit,,

I really liked this person, never expected anything like this to happen, im still shaking my head ,,I dont get it,,how many people would have been just thrilled to have pick pup in a litter, in fact most of the people on the list for this litter have already sent their balances on their pups!!!
People just amaze me
Sorry i just needed to vent, things like this upset me ,i take it to heart, i know i shouldnt ,,but i just want to make everyone happy,,,my bad,,sheesh!!!!!!!

I feel your pain Nancy. I wish people were as caring, or even a 10th as caring as our doodles are. That's why my 2 are my best friends!! Wink

and MAYBE things do happen for a reason?

and there are more out there that will appreciate your breeding and doodles. hang in there!

WE JUST STARTED TAKING DEPOSITS FOR THIS LITTER ONLY BECAUSE PEOPLE INSISTED FOR PICK OF LITTER. I LIKE CHOOSING THE PUP FOR THEM BASED ON WHAT THEY TELL ME THEY NEED, WHETHER IT BE A PUP FULL OF PISS & VINEGAR TO A PUP THAT IS MORE LAID BACK & RESERVED.LATELY THAT IS WHAT IS ON THE FOREFRONT OF THEIR MINDS AS WELL AS TO COLOR & SEX ..NICE TO SEE INTELLIGENT PEOPLE ASKING QUESTIONS.

WE TAKE REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS FOR PICK OF LITTER BTW BECAUSE WE ARE FIRM BELEIVERS IN THE SAYING "STUFF HAPPENS" AND MAYBEE WE ARE TOO UNDERSTANDING , BUT MOSTLY PEOPLE ARE SO EXCITED THEY DON'T CHANGE THEIR MINDS.
IF IT BECOMES AN EVERY DAY OCCURENCE WE WILL RETHINK OUR POLICY, IM SURE.
