Funny you should say that... I have one of those going on downstairs right now!!! They woke when I went in to clean their pen, and are celebrating something or other. As you say, choir rehearsal...
I have a houseguest coming in two days, and I've advised her to bring a set of ear plugs for feeding time!
Yes, I suppose it will be good to get my family room back, minus the skirt on my easy chair (those ex-pens are Too flexible!) but awfully quiet. Deva can go back to having a mommy again. And I suppose we'll have a keeper to raise... They'll be a Lot easier to potty train one at a time! _________________ Deb, Deva, Smiley, Lavender and Cherie

Deb so sorry to hear about your grandson and hope he heals quicker than expected.
here's one idea on finger foods and fun. You can do two things,
1-cover your dining room table or use a tv dinner style table and cover it with brown paper. I used to do this and draw things like block letters, cartoony characters and give my kids crayons and let them go to town.
2-next i'd get fruit and let them make silly faces on a plate with grapes, orange slices stawberries, blueberries, etc and then they could eat what they made. we had lots of laughs doing this.
3- you can also get books where you have to find words and other fun puzzles. YES you can buy different types of puzzles from wooden, plastic etc.
4. OH another fun thing is a book where you put words in the blank and then read aloud the silly story it makes.
5. i am racking my brains on other finger foods to make. I do make the swedish pancakes aka crepes and put fruit inside and sometimes whip cream then maple syrup mmmmmmmmmmmm
you can refrigerate or freeze crepes...if you want i can PM you an easy recipe _________________ Annmarie, Max,& Peanut

He is doing great and if he keeps healing they took an X-Ray Friday they he might get it off in 4 weeks instead of 6 to 8 amazing how fast they can heal isn't it? He actually is sitting up better now here is a picture I took on Mothers Day and one yesterday.
