I just looked at the photos of Boyd and he's just so unique looking! i love the coloring on his face! often the parti dogs have more black on their heads but I just love how Boyd's has some white on it too. Do you have any more recent photos Lora? _________________ Leslie M |

Boyd thinks Miko is "sassy" and gives her two paws up!
Hey, does anyone else have the issue with their doods talking to other dogs around 7:00 p.m.? I swear it's like that scene out of 101 dalmations around 7 in our neighborhood. In this case, I don't like to correct Boyd for barking b/c all the dogs are talking to one another. It's a hoot!
Barking at people or in the house is a different story... _________________ Lora and Boyd

We live next door to a beagle
who barks whenever he is in the yard.
At night time the beagle starts and all the
neighbourhood dogs join in.
Denver waits and waits and listens and
then gives one big WOOF, and runs into the house.
It is sooooo funny!!!! _________________ Sue & Denver

Flash, the parti doodle is still available. I got a call from his Foster Mom today and the family that was supposed to meet him on Friday backed out....BUT
I totally got cold feet and told her we are going to wait on getting another dog.
I'm not sure why I got so nervous, but it just didn't feel 'right'. He sounds absolutely fabulous, if a little rambunctious, so I know he will find the perfect home. It was definitely me just getting cold feet. I had a visit in mind for maybe this Sunday where we took Bella to see Flash and to see how they got along and then I made a decision...but it turns out his Foster Mom wanted to bring Flash to US (to check out our house, which is a good thing), TODAY, IMMEDIATELY and it would be a 4 hour round trip ride for her. I don't know, it just kind of freaked me out and felt like a lot of pressure, if things didn't go exactly well....would I really be able to say 'no, thanks' after she drove 4 hours to meet us....
She told me he is a sweet, loving dog, very playful, house trained. He does pull very hard on walks and she recommended a prong collar for him and he definitely needs consistency, structure and training.
Anyway, I feel bad and apologized to the Foster Mom and she was sooooo gracious, saying the fit has to be right and to keep them in mind when we decide we are ready.
Gosh, I feel like such a jerk |
