Not sure how far you would travel but we are in RI. We also know a very reliable breeder closer to you in CT. Drop us email if your interested. We do not ship our pups but its a great time of the year for a road trip. When we picked up our beloved Kelsey we traveled to NC to meet her and brought her home! Smile

There are some beautiful F1B's (Black) available from Yesteryear Acres in Ohio and they offer many different delivery options:

I would have bought the brindle the first time I saw her if I had the money! M&T are so close to me!

well she is the only one left, we think she is the PICK OF THE LITTER, her personality is awesome. One person wanted a black female, another a cream male. Shes our favorite so come on down(over-up) to RI meet her

Aint it the truth! We stopped trying to figure people out a while ago. The family who adopted our curly lil gal, had already adopted a cream(white) male and had recently lost a black dog to old age so it makes sense. The other family wanted a male and had one to choose from and fell in love with MURPHY, his new name. The brindle won't be far behind..she is such a beautiful pup inside and out.

I AGREE, MICKEY!!!
The order puppies leave our house is fascinating. But I am glad they go like that.....it keeps the variety constant even when we can't predict the order.

So, when there's just one or two left, invariably we get the question, 'why are these still here?' and I can honestly say everyone's looking for something different. Sometimes it's my very favorite that is still here.

Shoot, we have PHANTOM MARKED poodle puppies that still haven't been chosen yet! Go figure!

thanks, guys. He is a lover and a sweetheart, but he is standard-sized. He carries red/apricot and black, and also silver.

hey Mickey I heard of a breeder who's got a bunch of chocolate MOYEN poodle puppies she wants to sell! email me or check out the breeders' discussion, if that's your idea of downsizing.

If you are downsizing in numbers, email me about that and believe me, we could work something out with this boy OR his sister! Wink

Thanks, Linda. I checked them out and they are truly adorable, but they're mediums. I was looking for a black or chocolate standard - although that brindle is beautiful! So much to juggle - proximity and/or willingness to ship, size, color, gender....

hey, we're going to have REAL standards! Chocolate, silver, black, ....parents are 24" and 26" so they should be tall beauties!
But I don't expect them to be the 100 pounder's that some f1's are, cuz the 26-27" tall dad is only 60lbs or so.

Fancy's 22" and so her puppies will be more medium/average standard, if that's your preference.

oh, and about balancing out all the factors?
YOU ARE RIGHT! There's a lot to think about!

There is some balancing of factors: size, money, local, vs. delivery... There are our natural preferences, but most of all we want a good puppy. I think that's why I have been advising potential clients to find a breeder, and then they'll find their doodle.

(then you can choose color, coat, male, female..... Wink )
