Hi Nancy, I see that you are mad right now and when someone is mad usually no one can say anything to change that, but I clicked on the link and saw all the info then noticed on the right they used the word doodleville. (I read a city full of doodles, not their name as their name was dane gang a rescue organization.... I do see your concern though, perhaps you could just call or email them and suggest the take the word off their site. I dont think they are using it to try to identify themselves to that name, it seemed to me it was just a catch phrase to say "hey we have oodles of doodles here"

I tend to always believe the good in people so maybe and hopefully this is just a situation of someone coming up with a cute word to describe their situation and it just so happens to be your business's name as well.

My best to a easy, friendly and positive outcome Smile

M~

I did NOT work my butt off to be associated with this EVER
they are trying to identify with the name i talked to the woman,, I cant get over this !!! this is just beyond belief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

ya, i would probably be very mad too. you are such a wonderful breeder and you've worked so hard, just to have it snatched right from underneath you.

Just Dont use a established breeders Name to promote them!!!!

Just is not in very good taste not to mention deceptive!!! IMO

Nancy, it is not only bad business for them to do this...but it is probably illegal and you can have an attorney write a letter demanding that they stop.

I am sorry that you are so mad about this....But if you look closely, it says "Doodleville", not "DoodleSville".... and I agreee with the prior post that they are just a rescue organization that are trying to help these doodles and are using the term as more of a "hey, we have doodles here" context. It could have just as easily been "Doodletown". I doubt very seriously they even know you exist..(No offense)..and I will bet money that they are not intentionally trying to associate you with these dogs....Please don't be mad..They are trying to do their best...Leslie

Hey Nancy, this is crummy for sure. Did you notice that this is a site "powered by Petfinder" ?? Seems like they oughta know better, and that your atty might wanna contact them too, huh?

I notice the contact person is now "Jeannie" not "Nancy".... hope this gets cleared up soon.

When I responded to this post, I must admit that I had not read all of the posts carefully and I wish that I would have checked into it more carefully...
It looks like they have given up on helping the doodles at all, and if so, that is a shame...
I totally understand Nancy not wanting to have people misunderstand this ad to be associated with her business...and since I didn't get to see the ad before it was removed, I can't say...
But, I regret the comments that I made without knowing more about it. I hope that I didn't contribute to this organizaiton putting a halt to helping the displaed doodles.

All i wanted was my name off the site ,,it is totally up to them wheither or not they continue to help doodles,, they choose to do whatever they choose to do,, this should not have effected wheither they helped doodles or not..other then giving someone to blame which is just childish

They have turned down numerous placements that were wonderful ,,they had quite a few doodles that if they wanted to im sure could have been placed ,I know i sent numerous people to the breeder in question then next i heard they had turned them all over to rescue, I just dont know makes no sense to me

I am not going to be blamed for this one, in any way shape or form,
Sounds like a child well if they can't use that phrase, then they just wont play anymore or brother!!!
