| I just joined the forum, mainly so I could reply to the inquiry about Wilson Creek Kennels. I know the message was posted a while ago, but are you still looking for information? We just got a labradoodle puppy from Teresa three weeks ago, and I'd be happy to discuss my experience. He is an amazing puppy already and has the most wonderful temperament. He rarely barks and is very mellow, even with 5 kids ranging in age from 7 to 18 coming and going. We're very pleased with our decision and our new puppy. |

We did end up rehoming a year old white labradoodle( 45 pounds). She is excellent. She came to us housebroken, crate trained, not food aggressive, doesn't chew and is excellent with our kids. We got her in April- Belle is her name. Thank you to the previous post about having a great experience with Teresa. We live close enough for me to let others know about your experience and to contact you if they plan on adopting a puppy from Teresa. Thanks everyone for your continued support and advice. Belle has been a true blessing to our family. We are going to try to get to a romp here soon with all the other Illinois families. Our kids soccer, baseball, and swimming schedules are hard to work around. Take care,

Hello,
We were just over at Wilson Creek Kennels yesterday, and we will be getting a black doodle in about 2 weeks. I agree that Teresa was very knowledgable about doodles and has a really nice set up. I would be interested in hearing how training is going with your new puppy!

Kim, how far are you from Wauconda? That is where the romps have been. The dog park there is huge and fully fenced. Hope you can make the next one. Enjoy your new friend they are truly very special! _________________ Lisa, Lani and Toby

| We have still been waiting, but are hoping to schedule a visit to Wilson Creek in about a week. I hope I find that my allergies can tolerate the sample doodle there. We have mainly been considering all the places that we can't take a dog, and how we would adjust. |

IllinoisBob,
We got our Kenai from Wilson Creek, she is 13 weeks old now and a real joy. None of us have allergies, so I can't address that issue, but I highly recommend Teresa's labradoodles! Kenai is good tempered, smart, and is growing like a weed.
Our vet is my brother-in-law, and he said Kenai is a great dog. He was pleased with the vaccination and worming records Teresa provides as well. She will also provide you with copies of the parent's "papers", which was helpful for him in terms of hip ratings, etc.
If you ever have any questions about Wilson Creek feel free to email me. _________________ Cathy, and Kenai

hi we just relocated to southern illinois.... are the romps anywhere near here??
my labradoodle love to socialize!
illinoisbob... when we had people that wanted our pups but had allergies I would give them a little bath and allow the people to play with them as long as they like. one girl in particular had asthma and her family was very concerned and it all worked out so perfectly, the family couldn't be more happy with the dog - it was an f1b. I also gave a 30 day no questions asked allergy guarantee in addition to the 2 year normal guarantee. |

Thanks, guys. I plan to meet at Wilson Creek and stay around the dog test area while discussing all dog things. If that goes well, we will come back home and find a vet and buy doggie equipment, then make a second trip later to pick one up.
About romps -- must they be held in a fenced area? That is, if you had a farm, could you just let them run around a bit with no fence? |

Bob,
I know you are near Chicago, as are we, and that's why I let you know about Naper Doodles... but forgot to include the important context of location in the previous post. Sorry!
