My 14 week old labradoodle tires out after a walk of less than 1 mile. We walk at a medium pace. Is this normal? She still sleeps quite a bit too. Another habit is that she eats junebugs. YUCK! I have found piles of poop full of their skeletons.
Any suggestions? Thx. Jacqueline |

hello and welcome...I think a 1-mi walk is a bit of concentrated exercise for a puppy of this age, so yeah, I would expect a big nap afterwards! At 14wks old the majority of a puppy's time is going to be spent sleeping anyway. It's how they grow, process new info and stay healthy! So hang in there the best is yet to come.
ps- I'm with you on the junebugs....YUCK! _________________ ~Maureen
