My 14 week old labradoodle tires out after a walk of less than 1 mile. We walk at a medium pace. Is this normal? She still sleeps quite a bit too. Another habit is that she eats junebugs. YUCK! Sad I have found piles of poop full of their skeletons.
Any suggestions? Thx. Jacqueline

hello and welcome...I think a 1-mi walk is a bit of concentrated exercise for a puppy of this age, so yeah, I would expect a big nap afterwards! At 14wks old the majority of a puppy's time is going to be spent sleeping anyway. It's how they grow, process new info and stay healthy! So hang in there the best is yet to come. Very Happy

ps- I'm with you on the junebugs....YUCK!
