Shannon posts a lot of listings from the poomixrescue shelter. I don't know what area you're in but you could try there. I'm in Illinois and I know as soon as one is posted and you call the shelter its already been adopted so plan on moving fast! But, they are so worth the effort! Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
