We picked up Rufie at the Pound 3 years ago and nobody including our vet is sure if he is one. Would anyone care to hazzard a guess? He weighs in at 105 lbs.Thank you very much.

Rufie is cute. He really doesn't look like a Labradoodle to me. His color markings make him look a bit like a border collie, but his coat and size suggest a standard poodle mix or some other large long haired dog eg. Pyrenean Mountain dog. He's got a great smile! _________________ Susana, Sawyer and Huck |

| Thanks for the quick reply Susana. Well heck, Pyrenean Mountain dog still has a nice ring to it! He's still a bundle (big) of joy. Rufie the Mountain Dog! Sounds cool. |

I was thinking collie also because of the markings on his face. _________________ Linda & Gracielou

My guess would be - border collie x golden retriever (the smile is really a golden retriever smile ???)
But no, i do not believe he's a labradoodle _________________ Michael Steuer - Pacha & Maggie the F1 Chocolate Labradoodle Sisters

He looks like a mix of Australian Shepard & Curly Coat Retriever, but hey it's a guess. Nevertheless, he sure is cute. |

Hi,
Weighing in at 105lbs does suggest a bulky dog like a golden retriever in his parentage! wow! But the 2-color face, which is so adorable is definitely from somehwere else....and who knows? the curls and the smiles are adorable!
you are welcome with your "Mountain Dog" anytime!
