Dakota is now 3 months old. He weighs 22 lbs, which is a 10 pound gain from when we got him at 8 1/2 weeks--plus he has had, and still has, giardia which may be slowing up up his weight gain. What is so entertaining, and precious, about him is he has elephant ears, giraffe legs and feet as big as pancakes! My step-son insists Dakata's feet are bigger than his 8-year-old rottie's. --I almost agree. Is this normal for a 3 month old pup?? Other than being gangley, he's doing great! And thanks for all the wonderful information on this site. --Dakota is going to spend a week at Eagle Lake for the first time beginning Saturday. The 5 hour drive will be challenging!! --And Jet's Mom, I posted pictures on the "Large Breed Puppy Food" chain.

Hey! I think that this post slipped past us all somehow! So sorry!!
How was the week at Eagle Lake?
I think that Dakota sounds so cute! I love the larger ears and feet! So cute...and yes, it is common for dogs to have such big feet...usually means you are going to have a very BIG doggie!
