I read on the doodle zoo yesterday that someone's 4 yr old doodle died after getting hit by a car. It was heartbreaking to read...hug your doodle(s) today!!! _________________ Leslie M |

That is really sad. I read a really sad thread yesterday about Bloat, and a couple of dogs who died from this.
I'm glad I know about it now though, i had never heard of it. In fact I asked my mom about it (she has had dogs her whole life) and she also had never heard about it.

Anyway, I was sitting there reading this sad thread and weeping at work! (Luckily I have a private office)

| We sadly lost our black doodle, Kia, just over a month ago. She had liver issues from birth but was doing well on her medical management. I took her in for her regular testing and (long story) discovered her liver was covered in cancer. We chose to put her to sleep right then. She was only 2 years old but thank goodness never suffered one second of her life. We still have her sister, Emmy, and are slowly recovering from the experience. Love your doodle every day as you never know what is around the corner. |
