First time I saw this thread!

I'm a homeschooling/stay-at-home mom to my 10 year old son. My husband has a tile installation business.

My one grown dd is a nanny and the other is a barista at Starbucks (sorry Gene).

Sadie's job is to get spoiled rotten all day long.

I've worked for the same consulting firm for over 21 years. I work from home on a part time schedule (theoretically.... Confused ) I used to have to travel quite a bit, but have mostly been home since my kids were born (with a few trips to California, London, etc.!). My husband worked for years in the golf business, and now maintains the grounds at a retirement community (we can finally take summer vacations together!).

i'm a holistic nutritionist in san francisco. we are about to open up a "wellness boutique" in the fillmore district here in SF. we'll sell organic yoga clothing and body care products and offer nutrition/wellness consultation. i'm the lead nutritionist. and i also write for an environmental magazine and other alternative health publications. shaia is the official "Clary Sage dog." haha. she usually comes with me to work, wherever that may be for the day.

really interesting reading what everyone does!

You guys are hilarious! You have me cracking up !
I am a Project manager for a Sales and Service training company and my husband works at home, he is a Customer Support Engineer for a Telephone soft-switch company (all too technical for me!)

Jaxy's job is as our official furniture quality assurance tester, home security (particularly if kids are walking by the house or our neighbors are in the yard), kisser and cuddler (his best skills)...and of course to keep our cats in line (he is failing miserably)! Laughing

This is a really nice thread.

I have the feeling I might be the youngest doodle mummy on here - I'm 23.

Anyway, I finished my university degree last summer in the UK - in philosophy and psychology. I'm now living in the Netherlands and have taken a year off to learn Dutch. I work part time teaching English privately and in a couple of schools - one is Special Ed. So I have lots of time to make a fuss of Jofi. I plan to continue further studies (in Dutch) next year - either in clinical psychology or medicine - I hope to become a psychotherapist and/or a psychiatrist.

My partner is a teacher - he works at a school for the blind and runs education projects with VI, MDVI and deafblind.

As for Jofi, she's busy enjoying carefree puppyhood. She's resident sock-keeper, shoe polisher and steps in as a super pre-wash dishwasher. When she has the chance, she renovates the garden - she has a unique eye for landscape architecture. Maybe one day she'll be a therapy dog... who knows?! She also does a great job as seat warmer - only is a bit too reluctant to get off the couch when we want to sit there.

As for Tenzin - well he'll arrive in a few weeks - I'm very curious what his profession will be - hopefully a snuggle-bug and best friend for Jofi.

I am a secondary special education teacher. I mainly work with learning disabled students, but do have a few emotionally impaired or cognitively impaired students to teach also. My husband is also a teacher. He teaches English and coaches football. We work at the same school and even get to team teach a few classes together if you can believe it.

We have three daughters - 10, 8, 7. Aside from being outstanding students, all are actively involved in community theater - the youngest even had a main part in a production this past winter. Dance is also big at our house as two of them compete on a tap team.

Deacon is our 3 month old goldendoodle who has recently taken on the job of protecting us from the puppy in the mirror! He lays in front of the large mirror in the hall and barks and growls at his reflection Laughing

Henry is our 6 month old labradoodle. His job is to be big brother to Deacon and head mischief maker. Whatever Henry does, Deacon follows. Unfortunately that ment exploring the backyards of neighbors a few streets over last night! Confused

What a cool thread!

I have been involved in the administrative/accounting aspect of health care for many many years. Currently, I am a Research Administrator for a large teaching hospital. My DH is a principal software Engineer at F5 networks.

Remy has taken on the role of Keegan's playmate, reminder of how wonderful the world is in the morning, hugger and kisser of the best kind, and the playmate of all the neighborhood kids.

He has found the favored Doodle sleeping pose.

He has found out that stealing socks from the laundry pile is alot of fun too. Rolling Eyes

I remember this thread, yes it is cool, and I never posted on it ....
I have been mainly a stay-at-home mom, working out of my home. I have bred exotic birds for over 25 years, but retired 3 years ago knocking my flock from about 130 birds down to 4 parrots (Yellow-Nape Amazons & Congo Greys's), which give us about 8-10 babies a year now. I also groomed dogs for 6 years. Being at home also allowed me to be a girlscout leader for 5 years. (loved it and would love to do it again!)
My husband works for the railroad & is counting down to retirement, tired of the 50,000 plus miles he drives every year...
We have 5 children between us...my husband's 39 yr. old daughter who is a nutritionist/vitamin consultant (Shaia might know of her/company as it is out of the Bay area), and his 30 yr. old son who is an artist (glass blower), my 29 yr. old daughter who is a nurse, my 26 year old son whom is an electrician, and our "little caboose"...our 16 yr. old daughter whom is interning at a recording studio, and has plans to be an audio engineer w/ a back-up plan as a web designer (already gets paid for her lay-outs!)
Tuesday & Marley have the job as our personal trainer.....& do a great job reminding us to get out and hike!!!
It has been a very busy but full life for my hubby and I & we are looking forward to retirement! Very Happy

I am Director of Membership for a non-profit telecommunications association and my husband is a VP at another non-profit association that represents DMVs - we are both located in Virginia.

Boyd is guard doodle, walking companion, professional grilled meat taster, neighborhood greeter and master cuddle bug.

I never saw this thread!
I'm a Realtor and can't wait until Bogie is big enough to protect me in those vacant homes or open house thingies.
I also am a teacher, but left teaching after a car accident and back surgery.
