Oh brother! Bogie vomited sometime during the night. Now if the previous incident hadn't happened we would've thought OH WELL!
But it scared us, so we called the vet. She said.....hmmmmmmmmm.
Hmmm means that he has to go back on the prescription diet.
She said to keep him on it for now and that if he actually had to be on it the rest of his life it's no big deal.

That sort of bothers me, because to me that indicates he has damaged his stomach and it's going to be really sensitive now.
I won't jump the gun here and become negative. It's only been 10 days since all the uproar and maybe he wasn't ready yet to mix his old food with the prescription stuff as they told us to do.
We'll just have to see what happens.......but he's kind of quiet today. Confused

He proably just needs a little more time for his stomach to heal. He will probably be fine in another week or so.

You know Linda it takes take to heal. So maybe for a few weeks to a month or so he will have to be on special food. But it will get better.

Haven't been checking in lately and just read of sweet little Bogie's and your ordeal. I am so sorry and got so scared as I read page after page. I'm happy that he's home and getting back to his cute normal self (despite the recent upchuck) and I will think good thoughts and say special prayers for continued good health. I know you will take care of him, but care for yourself too and know that Ebbe and I send lots of hugs and licks.

Oh Man, Linda! I would have been scared, too! I hate that you never found what he got into because how do you keep it from happening again? I am sure he will be fine in a short time!

PS: When I was trying to find info when it first happened, I read that fabric softener is VERY corrosive if ingested. I never knew that.
