I’ve been hesitating on this, but the story goes on. Janet has long awaited the conclusion of chemo treatment #3 because a PET test was to follow which would determine the effectiveness of the chemo. When we were at the lake a couple of weeks ago, Janet and Jerry were also there watching the rebuilding of their flooded home. The PET test results—miraculous. All cancer non-detect but for a small area on her liver. So, he Dr sent her to a liver specialist at UC Davis Medical Center to determine if surgery or laser would be more effective. The specialist had a different take. Her liver cancer is such that it is inoperable and untreatable. She will live as long as her liver lives—6m months to a year. The ever-optimists, they will continue treatment with fingers crossed, but taking about going from heaven to hell in the course of a week . . . Also realists, the have booked a trip through the panama canal and subsequent on National Geographic ships as Janet is a nature lover. Once again, this did not have to be—GET CURRENT ON YOUR ROUTINE TESTS!!!!!
