Not necessary with a RAW diet. As KT posted I check Abby's teeth for tartar and have not found any. The gnawing, tugging and pulling on the tendons connecting the bones acts as floss and keeps her mouth sweet smelling and clean. No doggy breath at all! _________________ mtd/renee/abby/dr katz

Although the "I just ate fresh tripe" breath is a killer for a while after dinner. Do they make doggy tick tacks? |

Puddles gets bones from the butcher and his teeth are white and shining. Plus it's a great way to keep him occuppied when we are trying to eat dinner
Great thread...I love the idea of doggy tick tacks! |
