Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum, so I apologize in advance for any "mistakes".
I have a two year old female, cream, F1. Her OFA test came back with a rating of Good and she is free of Von W. I have not yet had her eyes checked but will do so soon.
She will be coming in season at the end of June and I am looking for a stud. Criteria includes primarily a sweet, affectionate personality with intelligence. Of course red or chocolate is my first choice of color.
The kicker is we want to meet the stud personally when she is bred. We live in Florida and would prefer to stay in the state. Can anyone help?
This will be the first time I have bred a dog.(horses, but not dogs). I really want to be a responsible breeder as well as do everything possible to ensure the well-being of my girl so ANY help or advice will be appreciated. Thanks to all. _________________ Have a happy doodle day! Monica |

Hi Monica, welcome!
I wish I could help! We are on the other coast!
I am certain that you can find some help...I am going to send you a PM with info about a listing of studs. Maybe you can find one in your area.
Ann Marie is right, we have included some great info on this forum and you can locate some really helpful advice by reading the archives.
I am currently writing an article for new breeders so I hope that it will be available for you soon (I am writing it for this forum).
Please feel free to contact me if you would like. I am happy to pass along any info that I can.
I wish you well, it sounds like you are off on the right track with your testing... _________________ jacque.bayley.lexie.chase.rosie.nitos.amelia.dupree.madison.sherwood.gerry www.backporchlabradoodles-jacque.blogspot.com www.backporchlabradoodles.com |

Thank you for the advice to search the forum archives. I'm sure I'll find some guidance there. I will also look for the stud list and hopefully I can find a mate for Bailey there.
