UPDATE: well folks it isn't looking good.

My daughter called at 7am today in severe pain amongst other things occuring, they took us in right away today.
we have to go back on Thursday for another ultrasound and more blood work. THURSDAY we will know for sure if my daugther Brittany is having a miscarriage or not.

they didn't hear a heartbeat, the placenta looks partially detached, she's hemorraging, in real bad pain, and well we are putting our faith and trust in god's hands
and firmly believe things do happen for a reason.

I haven't given up hope though.........so it's a wait and see till thursday

when my daughter cried earlier, OMG it got me going and her boyfirend too....then i said OK it's 'ICE CREAM TIME" WE ALL laughed!!!

Annmarie....way to go to lighten the mood at least a little. I can't imagine the pain your daughter is going through. Please help her keep her chin up and tell her Maya and I are sending prayers and well wishes.

Annmarie, I'm sorry. It's got to be hard to see your child suffering like that.

When I was pg with my first, I started hemorrhaging big time at about 6-7 weeks. We were sure I'd miscarried. It was really weird, 'cause I did miscarry one, but a few days later my HCG levels were still high and I found out I was still pregnant! With bed rest for 29 weeks, I carried another twin to 35 weeks. She's now 33 yrs old and a mom herself. I think my Dr was nearly as surprised as I was. I'd never heard of that happening, but apparently it does.
So don't give up till it's all over. Medicine isn't an exact science and life's full of surprises.
