If anyone can help, this dog needs out today. We got a call from the shelter, but we do not know what it looks like. They have 16 dogs coming in and the doodle will be put to sleep. It is only a 1 yr old. If anyone is in the area and can help, please email rescue@idog.biz

Oh Lord that breaks my heart. I swear that when I am a famous rockstar (www.adamwhiting.net !!!!) I am going to live on a huge farm where I can gather all of the lost doodles (and other dogs) and live happily ever after....

I hate seeing pictures like these.....

It kills me to see all these doodles for rescue in the midwest and we can't get them here Sad I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Look at that face! How could anyone give this boy up? What's his story? I am going to ask my husband to consider fostering...he may think that I am crazy b/c our doodle is enough for him. We'll see what he says! I'm in Columbus.

How long do doodles generally spend in foster homes?

Thanks Nicole. This guy is all set and may have a new home lined up.. He really is a great boy. He was found as a stray and notices were put up. Noone has come forward to claim him as their lost pet.. Too good of a boy to have let him go.

Can I assume that he isn't micrchipped?
I hear all kinds of stories that lost dogs even when micrchipped do get checked. I'm hoping that the shelter at leasts trys to check.

Yep, been checked twice for a chip and nothing! So sad, but we have known many dogs to get dumped even when they are great! Three 6 mo old doodle pups were just found in Illinois and they were dumped. 1 got hit by a car, one was trapped, and another is still running loose. It happens all the time.
