Lynn, I 'm sorry you have to go in to hosptial - hopefully it will be a short stay
I'm sure Dex will be fine at the Pet hotel for a few days, sounds like he is adjusting there.

hugs and prayers

Try not to worry about Dexter, your job is to rest and get better.

I had bacterial pneumonia last year...it sucks! You really do feel like crap. Get some rest. The doggie hotel sounds like the perfect solution...and no long walks for you for a while after you get out! It took me at least a month to start feeling back to normal.

LYNN i had to convince my doctor NOT to put me in the hospital back in 2001 for bacterial pneumonia and it took me 3 mos to get better!

Please being in a hospital isn't any fun BUT you should recoup better there than at home and get the much needed rest your body has to have right now.

hey we're here rooting you on for a speedy recovery!!
keep us posted

Thanks everyone....

It looks like I'm going to get outta here tomorrow. It's been a trying few days. I miss my family immensely. Dexter is doing well, but they told me that kennel cough is going around, but Dex isn't showing symptoms. One more thing to worry about, huh?

Thanks for being here for me. It adds a sense of normalcy amidst the absolute abnormality of the last few days.

You guys rock.
