Today Remy spent about 2 hours outise in his xpen, while I was working on a patio.
While we were in the house taking a break, he threw up dirt. It was most definately dirt.
I noticed he was digging a hole but I had no idea he was actually eating the dirt.
I seemed to remember that dogs eat dirt when they are lacking something in their diet. Is that true for puppies too? or do you think this is his way of learning his environment?
We are feeding a high quality food, Wellness puppy and Solid gold. _________________ Diane |

From what I gathered,it seems pretty normal. He came over to me and had that "What's going on?" look.
I do believe this is the first time he has thrown up. I'm sure it won't be the last. He's one of those vacuum type dogs. I'm always checking to see "What he's got!" _________________ Diane |
