My Mom and Dad are hockey nuts,,,,,,ok My Mom used to be a hockey nut but then her favorite player, some guy
named Patrick Roy retired so she
does not watch it much. My Dad however watches all the time and he
screams and shouts and just plain yells a lot and claps his hands.
When I was a puppy I had an accident in the house and my Dad
was standing right there and he clapped his hands and yelled NO!!!!!!!!!
it was so loud and it scared me so bad that(Dad feels guilty) I have never had an accident in the
house since....which brings me back to the topic of why I hate Hockey
My dad yells at the TV thingy the same way he yelled at me that day
and although it took them awhile to figure out why every time a hockey
game is on I get all nervous and want to be as far away from the tv and my Dad(sorry Dad) as I can be.....................
The upside... there is a game starting in a few minutes and I heard my Mom tell my Dad that she is gonna
take me to the beach, so I won't be upset.
Does anyone know how long playoffs are cause I think me and Mom are
gonna be having lots of extra beach days.................

how long are playoffs? too long! hahhaa
i don't know 1.5hrs or more?
maybe one day Denver's daddie can go to a friend's house to watch hockey?hahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
PS I love how the way men yell at TV like the players really can hear them

awwh...poor Denver. I can relate - I don't enjoy hockey either...I think baseball is a much better sport You probably wouldn't like watching baseball with me either - I yell at the tv a lot too

Denver I have to say the Beach sounds a lot better than Hockey! I am Not a hockey fan either

Yo, buddy!! Beach days!!!! Way to go!! I don't know how long play-offs last, but for you, I hope they last forever!!!! I am a bit jealous . . . the bottom of mom's leg turned white and now she chases me around in a moving chair--I'm not sure how much I like that!

Yeah but do not use the sports cards like we did as kids......................I cannot believe how many
hockey cards i used that probably could have bought me

Denver ... Guess What? FoodLady likes hockey too! She used play many many years ago on ponds around her family's house.
She doesn't follow it the way she used too, but I can safely say it is her favorite sport.
Now ... for your situation ... (a) as long as the playoffs last you get to go to the beach (b) as long as your FoodGuy's team is winning you can suck up for extra treats (it's amazing how many I get during Soprano's re-runs. (c) it's better than baseball.
Just some food for thought. If worse comes to worse head east to Cincinnati ... We've a baseball team in last place and no one in my house cares. But we do go to the park alot ... come on over!

Well . . . hmmm . . . we do have a Cinco Dog Mayo dock diving event on May 3rd and I have been concerned as to how I would get around . . . your ideas may grow some legs!!
