I finally remembered to bring my camera and take pictures!

My bestie Jeff rescued this poor kitty who lived in her owners garage. He (the original owner) kept a container of food open for her to eat from all day long, every day. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for free feeding if the animal can handle it. But poor Penelope obviously couldn't.

I swear, this is NOT a photoshopped beach ball!

Jeff took her to the vet when he first got her and she weighed 33lbs! By the time I took these pictures she was all the way down to a svelte 30!

Wow! That makes my son's 17 lb-er look like he's starving, which he will tell you he is if you walk toward their laundry room ("his" room).

OMG!! That poor cat. I feel so bad for it. It is kind of funny looking but when you think it is photo shopped. But that fact is that is sad.
