I am hoping that our friends in the mid-Atlantic region

Postby Jac » Sat Feb 06, 2010 9:03 pm

are okay...this is one terrible storm...I know that many are without power, many more are snowed in...I hope that you are all safely within your homes with family and Doodles cozy with you...

Be safe!

UGH hope everyone is safe and warm!

We're about to be hit with our 3rd round of snow today. 6 more inches, maybe 10. Oklahoma gets MAYBE one good snow a season, this is our THIRD!!!! Kids have already been out of school so much that classes are running into the summer break. UGH!

Wowie...look at that snow...but, more impressive is the gorgeous blue sky and the trees outlined in the distance...and, of course, Layla...how cute she is! So happy!

I keep hoping that you are all okay...we hear such horrible stories about the snow and power outages...and coooold temps!

Stay well...keep smiling!

I used to Live on Lake Erie in Buffalo about 800 ft from the beach and OMG the lake effect snow ,white outs and being in the
middle of nowhere ......holy moly it looked like that most of the winter.

NOW i live an hour away and i have a HUGE SNOW THROWER, all our vehicles have 4wh drive and i have
2 generators along with DAVE is going to clean out the chimmney as i have a huge fireplace not being used.

I LIKE to be prepared........IN FACT if i hear a weather snow warning YES i go to store and stock up on food
Years ago we had mini blizzards in Buffalo that kept us snowbound for up to 4 or 5 days, we were constantly
losing power. I learned the hard way to stay prepared. in fact i always keep a blanket in my car and water too

Well I guess some of the SNOW warnings are going further North now.......my dad is getting his fair share
we're only supposed to get 3 to 7 inches later today so no warnings as that really isn't much for us.

i've heard of others goign to get a foot or more.........sure hope they don't
