All semester Mommy's told me that we were going on an Airplane, which I've been on before, but didn't remember what it was, and we were going to see a Striker, The Lady, The Man, The Boy, and Mema.... I wish she had clued me in on this experience! First off it started with mom leaving me with a strange man, making me go in a big scary thing for a long time, get out in the rain, and then fly again! But we finally got to I guess where Mommy wanted to be.

I met this big black dog, who I guess is Striker. He's kinda dumb sometimes. He doesn't know his name, and will do anything the humans say to do. So if I don't feel like doing something I let him do it for me, but then the humans get mad at Striker and me, so perhaps its not as beneficial as I think! Oh, and Striker thought I was his personal humping bag, but I made sure to correct him on that thought.... nip that right in the bud! He also didn't know how to play with me! I would try all sorts of games, nipping, pumping into him... I finally got him to play tug of war, and today we made a further effort and actually jumped at each other and play fought! He's slowly coming over to the dark side!!!

Mom's also gotten me into swimming. At first, I thought it was a death chamber, or at least some weird form of torcher! But then she threw the tennis ball around and I found out it was actually really fun!

Speaking of tennis balls! Did you know that they're the greatest toys ever! Mom didn't let me play with them before because I'd like to eat the fuzz. But I'm over that now (well most of the time) and I LOVE tennis balls! I need to make sure mom knows to buy some for the apartment in California.

Oh and did you know that grass right outside the door is WONDERFUL! I can run and run and run, do doodle 500's around everything! It's GREAT!!!

Mom says we've only got a month left at this place.... I think I'm going to miss it here. She says we're only going to live in an apartment for one more year if everything goes as she wants it to go.... whatever that means!

But here's my summer in Pictures!

We weren't too sure of each other.

Getting closer (boy do I need a haircut! I can't believe Mom let me come looking like this!!!)

Haircut! Don't I look Dashing!

Our first attempt at playing!

What do you mean I'm not supposed to destroy the toys?

Who ever said this guy didn't like dogs was mistaken!

More playing!

Visiting with Mema (I was the second dog allowed over her house!)

Playing with mom's cousin!

I guess Striker isn't sooo bad.

Loving Mom!

What do you mean this isn't MY crate! I don't want to be alone!

We're buds now!

Mom's entering me into a few calender contests, can you look at these photos from my photo shoot today and tell Mom which one you like? It's a slide show so click the photo and it'll bring you to it!

Thanks for listening to my story!!

Napa has this forum taught you nothing?? You are in quality control...it's a faulty product!! Not your fault it fell apart.

Beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everybody!

The crate picture is when we tell them to go to their crate. Striker knows to go to his crate, and Napa thinks that means he should join Striker in his crate. Trying to get Napa to go into his own crate after that is like trying to pull teeth. Striker comes when you tell Napa to come, then its a No Striker, Napa come.... then finally a pulling fight between the person trying to crate them and Napa to get him over to his crate. It's quite funny.

The "Baby" as we call it (the thing he destroyed) was one of their favorite toys. So Napa would often play tug of war with it with Striker because Striker would actually hold onto it. So Napa's ultimately destroyed 4 "baby"s so far this summer. I've got the final two in my room that I'm going to sew back together for Striker for when Napa leaves!

Great pictures. Glad Napa is having a good summer. I love the close-up of Napa looking upwards with the tennis ball in his mouth.
