4th of JULY w/4 doodles 4 adults 40beers?

Well we had a blast here on 4th of JULY w/Jerry, Leslie, Dave, myself
and 4 doodles!

11amish: Kirby, Dex, Max and Peanut get to go to creek in yard
(jerry has pics on his camera....will post sunday when they're back
from Niagara Falls). Kirby is making a liar out of his parents hahahhaha
KIRBY jumped right in and swam in the creek Shocked

(supposedly he doesn't like to swim)

all 4 doodles get muddy ..........i am told they don't like being hosed down
I tell them I don't like MUD on a new 8x11ft wool throw rug
result: ALL 4 doodles get hosed down and don't even attemtp
to protest the hose in my hand Cool

1pm beer time
2pm beer time
3pm chips/dip and more beer time
4pm BRING Max and Peanut go in pool, not too happy about it either
(Jerry has pics on his camera...will have when they're back from
their 1.5day trip yes Niag Falls)

6:30pm...we need food to keep beer time and good doodle
parenting skills in effect

DEXTER is like holding a BIG GIANT SOFT FLUFFY TEDDY BEAR
he's tooooooo sweet and cute, and makes my heart melt when he
comes into my lap and gives me TONS of doodle kisses

Max is also the Mad doodle kisser: Double Doodle duty now for me

MORE pics later......jerry has them and you know the story by now
hahhaaaaaaaa

NOTE: we ate like kings and queens
180 steamed clams
honey mustard pork tenderloin
tons of baked beans
forgot to take out pasta and potato salad
didn't run out of beer

had 2 neighbors doing professional fireworks on each side of my yard
totally awesome!! doodles were fine , never barked Shocked

Poor LUNA hid under my bed ...but loved being held part of time
as I did check on her and spend time w/her too Smile

we lasted until 10:30pm then we crashed

Looks like you are all having a wonderful time!
Um...are you certain that both neighbors did fireworks...could it have been stars that you were seeing due to all that beer??? Shocked

we really had a blast both w/Leslie and Jerry
and also taking care of their doodle w/our doodles too.

I am putting up another post tomorrow .....we took all the doodles down to the pool about 2hours BEFORE jerry and leslie got back from canada today.

DEX poor guy his stitches aren't completed healed so he couldn't go in
but we wet his head down Wink

when Jerry and Leslie took all 4 doodles for walk we warned them that Max might take off on them and not listen hahhaaaaaaaaa

guess what-------Dex and Kirby took off to swim in creek Shocked

while
Peanut and Max stuck by their side and listened hahhaaaaa!!
go figure Cool
