more stuffed toys...I must repeat this to myself 100 times! Sadie rips them to pieces in a matter of hours.
Garage sale toys or Goodwill, maybe but I'm NOT paying $7 or more for something that doesn't last a day! Mad

yeah we never buy them here - Kirby would shred in 2 minutes Smile I'd rather spend more money on a toy that lasts.

Have you tried the Cuz toys? Our doodles love them...we just gave them dinosaur cuz's recently and Kirby is totally fascinated with them.

I'll have to find the dino one. She has a red cuz but isn't too interested in it.

We have awesome Goodwill stores here. They are like regular stores. Organized, clean and good stuff. Our local targets have some agreement with them so once it goes to clearance at Target, it will be in the Goodwill in about a week.

The good thing about stuffed toys is that MOST of them can go in the washing machine (if you are worried about germs). I have had to put many a stuffed lovey in the washer to get it clean for my daughters. They do fine. I even throw them in on high heat to dry.

Yard sales are another GREAT place to get stuffed toys for usually a quarter a piece.

Cacao has this FROG, Beau like to shredded toys. So Cacao only gets it in her cage or when Beau gets a time out. It is her favorite toy. It is hard to keep Beau from it. But he would kill in in minutes.

SEVEN DOLLARS!!!?? Good LAWD, that's a lotta money!!!

We go to BigLots and pay less than $2 per toy. Same toys, same quality. Ozzie selectively decides whether he's going to shred or adopt/nurture his toys.

See, I keep hoping she'll adopt one. Her latest victim was a gingerbread man shaped fleece stuffed & squeaky toy.
Whoa! Big Lots has dog toys???

Yup, we got a BigLots 5 minutes from us!
And the dollar store... Sampson never seems to shred toys until he finds a natural rip made by overuse and then all the stuffing has to get pulled out and scattered across the floor.

Maya shreds toys in minutes. Haven't tried a cuz yet but she destroyed the orka ball in 15 minutes. Petsmart and dog.com have a new plush toy called Skeenz. It's not stuffed but has squekers in either end. Maya has to dissect the toy and remove the squekers but she still plays with it after.

Sadie has a squeky plush toy that my Mom got her this weekend that I keep in her crate so Maya can't get it. Well today I go downstairs and Maya and Sadie are playing tug of war with the toy. Sadie was in the crate and Maya was outside the crate!!! Shocked

I have pics to prove it!!!!

I can't find toys that hold Sherlock's interest for very long. The rope toys are out because he shreds them in a matter of minutes. I won't even waste my money on stuffed animals. He had a rubber squeaker toy last night. He palyed with it for a little while. He would bite it then jump back and growl at it when it squeaked. Then he'd just keep it in his mouth and bite down on it so it would squeak. All the time he was whining. It was actually pretty funny to watch. It went on for a little while until he punctured a hole in and started to break pieces off. At which point we took it away. He has a couple of Kongs but it takes him only about a minute to get the peanut butter or whatever treat we put in there out and then he's done with it.

Why can't my duck and I sleep in this bed? Who wrote this silly rule?

I've got heaps of fluffy toys and I have chewed up a few, but I like my garden pot as much as anything. My duck is a special $2 dog toy which has been given the works by me and still come up honking. My pot I stole when my oldies weren't looking.
