Jazzie is almost 5 mos old now. We lost a tooth this weekend. Shocked It was a back one! Shocked Shocked Is this normal at this age ?

She is a BIG stick chewer.

I would say YES, Della who is also 5 months lost one of those on Thursday too!



Husband found it caught in Lucas' hair!

I saw her chewing on somethin Rolling Eyes ........... knowing that I hadn't given her anything. When I told her to drop it, she did.... in my hand. Had a little blood on it too.

Good to know the ewwww is normal.

yep, this is totally normal. the back molars are usually the first to go, right around 5 months, followed by the little front teeth and finally the canines. it doesn't even seem to hurt them when they fall out, although there is sometimes some blood visible. they often swallow the baby teeth -- it is pretty cool that you found one! i have a few teeth from ursus and kumo, but definitely not all of them.

Sadie is just finishing with losing her baby teeth. She didn't swallow them. Most of them she spit out at me!!!

She's a maniac at tug of war, but have noticed a difference lately, so I've backed off agreeing to play thinkin it might be her teeth.

I can't find any dog chew she likes as much as a stick. She can strip it naked !! Shocked Shocked

Jane by 6mos usually they've lost all their baby teeth....so this is normal

just have chew toys handy Very Happy
