Thanks Jac......fortunately in our house, the pack may be readjusting, but is not being contested. Miko has started humping Jonah, and "protecting" her safe zones (under my computer desk and under the recliner). Jonah will later dominance hump Miko.
Jonah and Rumor have run ins like little kids....."he'd touching me", and "it's MY fence", But they blow over with a quick and sharp "settle" from me.
Treats and dinner are still dispensed as follows: Jonah, then Miko, then Rumor.
All in all it's all peaceful in the King pack! _________________ gene , jonah , miko and rumor

Sounds like you have it all set up, Gene! Lucky you!
Our household was so peaceful until Nitos hit his 2 year mark and now he is sweet but trying to out-alpha his daddy, which isn't hard...Chase is such a gentle soul...then we have the Moyen Poodles trying to vie for their place up the ladder and my youngest Labradoodles, both clueless, trying to keep stide!
It is funny but of all of our dogs, Bayley, the smallest adult, is alpha. No one messes with Bay...one quiet growl sends all of the other dogs, puppies too, in another direction. (Yet she has never gone beyond that quiet growl...amazing.) _________________ jacque.bayley.lexie.chase.rosie.nitos.amelia.dupree.madison.sherwood.gerry www.backporchlabradoodles-jacque.blogspot.com www.backporchlabradoodles.com |
