When Bailey was that age we let him sleep in our room on a leash for awhile. When he woke up we would give him something to chew so we could go back to sleep for a bit longer. My husband couldn't stand the sound of the chewing but I could sleep easily knowing I could hear him and he wasn't getting into any other trouble.
