ahhhhhhhhhh, CONGRATS on getting a new puppy next week!!!
that really is sooooooo exciting!!
and for a 3hr drive alone, I'd say a crate would be very handy and safe for both of you. can't wait to see pics........

Zoe, congratulations on your upcoming puppy!! I did what Tink suggested and brought a big towel with me when I went to pick my puppy up. Before we left I rubbed the towel all over the mama and let her play with it a bit. That's what Bailey snuggled in on the way home. He still has it in his kennel. He was scared and nervous. I held him while my husband drove. My boys were with too and had a chance to hold the puppy while driving. We were all so excited. _________________ Lily and Bailey |

Congrats on your new puppy.......
How wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!
Definately crate while by yourself.
My breeder sent Denver to us with a puppy blanket
that had his Mom's scent rubbed into.
As far as potty training we took some time off work and literally took
him out every 1/2 hour in the begininning and then went to every hour
and then every two hours over a 3 week period.
Denver was very easy to potty train, we were lucky.
We praised like crazy every time he did his business........
Good luck!!!!!!!!! _________________ Sue & Denver
