Thank you! My doods DO smile! It is so cute!

Fun, isn't it? Being on the cutting edge of a new and remarkable breed...best part is that acceptance into a registry is not a big deal for me...but breeding healthy, happy, wonderful dogs is...and THAT we do! Very Happy

I totally agree. What does a peice of paper mean anyway? The awesome thing is that instead of being bred to hunt, dig, or whatever, these dogs are being bred for personality and health.. with the added bonus of being people allergy friendly Smile

I really love the breed and admire the work that breeders are doing right now!

Here is a fantastic picture of my multicoloured, grey on top, brindle underneath, non-labradoodle, but cheese-doodle of my heart!

We just got our chocolate 4 days ago and she's amazing! She also has a blonde face and blonde hair throughout her coat. She'll grow up to be a real heartbreaker!

Libby & Jofi-
which color would my Libby Lu be considered? She's not really red, but not really apricot either, is she? Lots of people have asked me what color she is and I always say "I don't know, I just call her Peanut Butter Pup." that's the color she looks like to me!

Great name for a doodle by the way Wink!!

Sorry it took ages for me to reply.

You're right, she's a gorgeous colour. According to the Rutland Manor website, reds and apricots have black nose pigment whereas a caramel has a rose nose - so officially I'd guess she is a rich caramel.

This is what it says:

Quote:
Just as there are different shades of red with red haired humans so it is with dogs. The basic difference between a Red and a Caramel is the color of their pigment (nose, lip and eye rims and paw pads). Reds have Black pigment and dark brown eyes. Caramels have rose pigment and honey to hazel eyes.
