Max,spent hours in doggie hospital yesterday, getting fluids because he was dehydrated. Now hes on meds and a special diet until hes back to his old self.Hes been having serious Diahreahh for a few weeks, because we thought it was his food, we had to transition and change his food, but the new food just made it worse.
Its been stressful times, having a sick doodle worrying about his little body.
Today was a good day for him, the fluids helped, the meds are helping and special food is working. What a relief.
Now we have to figure out why this all happened.
i dont know about your doodles, but this doodle is quite the Everything in your mouth kind of dog, chewing on everything.
Let's see, nothing is safe with this doodle.

OH I sure hope MAX gets better soon and I really feel for you and him as we went through the same exact thing for over 4mos a year or so ago.

for us, the homemade diet with few customizations finally worked in getting our Max back to health and finally on dog food just last April 2007. We're feeding all life stages Canidae.

GOOD LUCK
and I really do hope Max's system settles down
for us it could have been sensitive tummy /food issues.

Keep us posted
