Hi MichDoodle, How is your search going? I am going to be speaking to to a woman in the next hour that is in love with doodles and wants one bad. Not really sure of two, but what is going on with the placement of your dogs. Still trying to find homes? Let me know, and I will give her some info. Thanks, Greg _________________ Greg

First I would like to thank everyone here for their advice, suggestions, and support.
It has made a huge difference to me during this time. I have been away for several days now. I was so busy with screening my prospective families that I did not have time to post here.
I have been running around like a mad woman doing my "due diligence" and making sure these were the right families.
My female is now placed with a lovely family. It was HARD to arrive at the family's home tonight knowing this was the last time I'd likely see my girl and get to hug, kiss, and play with her. I almost had to send my husband in to handle the transfer alone because I broke down during the drive there. My body was reacting to the upset and stress so strongly that it provoked the near onset of a migraine. I was able to pull it together and get through it, but I still have to get through the transfer of my boy tomorrow.
That one will be worse because then they are really *gone*.
Our house will be so empty.
I am very sad right now.
I know the dogs are going to wonderful homes and that this is the responsible and loving thing to do for them.
It will just be very sad for me to be without them.
Again, thanks for all the advice and suggestions and sympathy.
Myself and my family and my *dogs* really appreciated it. |

I am so sorry you had to go through this. I can't imagine what your night has been like, or even your week. As much as it must hurt, it does sound like you did the right thing for them. Again, so sorry... _________________ Lily and Bailey |

I'm glad you've found good homes for them. They'll miss you too, but I'm sure they will be a fun part of their new families.
Good luck in your move! |
