Oh, how lovely! New puppies! So those unauthorized escapades through your friend's part of town didn't do any damage! Four puppies, huh? Looking forward to photos as they get older. What's the gender breakdown, and I forget, are these standards?

Maureen , 1st off Congrats!! and wow they are all so gorgeous!!!
and can you post pics again in another 3 weeks where the colors would be more noticable then? Dont' you find that they're color changes a bit around the 3 week time period and then again by time they're 8 weeks or so?
i'd love to see all of them and their colors either deepen or what becomes more pronounced. _________________ Annmarie, Max,& Peanut

THANK YOU, everyone!
The breeders' forum and more expert-than-me breeders say he's a SABLE.
Here's a helpful website built by some poodle people, if anyone wants to see more examples of phantom, sable, brindle, etc...
http://www.partipoodleworld.com/ColorsandTrimsOtherColors.htm
OF COURSE I will post more pictures!!
At 2 days old, Fancy will let me say hi to her, and even move a puppy to a better spot to nurse but unless she's willing to go outside, I don't think we'll get pictures for a day or two.
On weeks like this one, this IS the best job in the world.
I wish it was always this good!
( I was recounting to the vet techs how I had been in with Jasmine and spaying 2 dogs I had counted on for breeding since Fancy's last litter!)

Wow, Maureen, it is your time to have happiness...so glad that this little pup, along with the other beauties, are bringing that into your life.
The sable pup is so gorgeous...but you know, so are the others! You are so right about this being the best time!
Enjoy! _________________ jacque.bayley.lexie.chase.rosie.nitos.amelia.dupree.madison.sherwood.gerry www.backporchlabradoodles-jacque.blogspot.com www.backporchlabradoodles.com |

Maureen - I was checking around for brindle information again and found this thread. I figured if someone else was looking for the same, they might find it also
Anyway, I posted some new pictures of my brindle and thought I'd do it here also.
Did you get updated pictures of the sable you had? Does it look like he's going to silver out?
