ooooo, am I EVER late to this thread!!! ROFL!!!
But, as usual, it looks like the ladies got Gene well-covered...
umm, on second thought, after seeing Kathie's pic, maybe not.
P.S. Gene: I am REALLY good at "re-labeling" things----your faucet is now a "rare and priceless early American plumbing apparatus featuring a rotating uni-handle, bi-temperature valve, and German silver finish." Not bad eh, you'd think I was on the antiques roadshow or something!!! LOL!!!
P.S.S. Living in a 70s fixer-upper ourselves, Paul and I certainly sympathize with the screw-it-up-yourself for a good old fashioned kick in the wallet routine!!!
WHAT HAPPENED KATHIE!!!???!!! _________________ REASON #12, "Why I love my doodle so": My doodle's inquisitive nature keeps her learning all the time! |

I DID NOT JUST IMAGINE A PICTURE OF A LARGE...HMM, PLUMBER'S CRACK!!!!
Granted, I do have an active imagination but I do implore you to believe me that this is NOT an image I would have willingly thought of!!!
ROFL!!!!

Well call me Annmarie!! I've spent the last 2 days without hot water. I called the plumber yesterday and he just left. Seems when I was looking for water shutoff valves......I turned off the gas to the hot water heater, so the pilot went out! DUH!! Talk about a blond moment!! I'm very glad I purchased the 3 year service contract........ _________________ gene , jonah , miko and rumor

Good ... the service contract ... was going to mention it. I call it our "Frequent Plumber Card"! And having it will make you a priority customer!
Now that you've tacked plumbing and saw how much fun it is, please stay away from electric! _________________ Mary and Ebbe,

Well, I am very late to this party!
Gene...you are a dear soul...very much like my husband...and I must say that, like my husband, you probably should NEVER be allowed around tools. (Or cement mixers, or post hole diggers...or...)
Boy, you have really been taken through the ringer on this one!
On the bright side, you will have one fine kitchen when itis all said and done (and paid for!) _________________ jacque.bayley.lexie.chase.rosie.nitos.amelia.dupree.madison.sherwood.gerry www.backporchlabradoodles-jacque.blogspot.com www.backporchlabradoodles.com |
